We tasted a lot of smoked trout to find the right ones for Shelsky's. While tasty, so much of the smoked trout out there lack distinctive character. At Shelsky's, that just won't do. Our discerning clientele seeks out and appreciates distinctive characters in their smoked fish. This smoked trout is far and away, the most trouty (okay, we made up that adjective) smoked trout we've ever had, with an assertive fresh trout flavor that really shines through the smoke. It makes a killer pat – and is great with scrambled, poached, or soft-cooked eggs. Sold by the whole fish only. Weights of fish vary.
