We make our haroset (or Charoset if you're not into the whole brevity thing) the same way Peter Shelsky's Mother made, and her Mother made before her.  Apples, honey, concord grape wine, golden raisins, and walnuts make our haroset everything it's supposed to be - a sweet foil to the horseradish in your Hillel sandwich!
