Thank you so much for everything you and your team did for Jack’s bar mitzvah this past weekend. Everyone complimented how delicious it was. It’s their new favorite chopped liver or tuna or babka. And people were taking multiples of the matzoh crack they loved it so much. The team you had there was so lovely to work with and so kind. It really wasn’t absolute pleasure working with you in your colleagues. I’ll send photos of any of the food and table details if you want to use for your marketing materials.

I also got some house picked herring on the side with picked onions and cream. I was brought right back to my childhood.
Not to mention the decor and vibe of the place is a wonderful and charming homage to the Jewish culture.

On Sept 6th I did an overnight order and spent over $300. Everything was excellent including the packaging. I only do this a couple of times a year and have lived in Florida for 50+ years originally from New York. I have ordered from them all. Katz, Zabars, Russ, Manny's in Chicago etc. By far and away your appetizing and deli beats them all hands down. Thank you. The Babka was pricey but still better than any of them! It is very rare that I comment, but I was happy and wanted to let you know.

Hi. Just wanted to thank you all for the positive experience I had in my Yom Kippur order.

As always, the food was divine (matching the holy day), but first time ordering through the nationwide delivery system (although it was Northern Brooklyn), and couldn't be happier -- from packaging to the support I had over the phone with Guy and online with Peter.

It was also the first Yom Kippur in the U.S., and Shelsky's made us feel at home.

I contacted Shelsky’s after an exhausting search for a specialized item.  There is no Kosher Deli in the city where I live.

I called every place I could find all over the country.  Some people "didn’t have time", some never heard of the item but most hung upon me without a word or didn’t reply to my email. I almost gave up and that’s when I came upon Shelsky’s in Brooklyn.  Peter answered my email the next day.  He knew what I wanted, said he’d put it together for me and send it out.  A few days later.. I got a huge box with everything I ordered.  It was so well packed that it took awhile to get to my prize.. but it was well worth the effort.  I’m a transplanted New Yorker living in Tucson and now I always have the taste of tradition with me.

Peter, Lew and Guy go out of their way to take care of their customers and their dedication, kindness and love for their customers shows.

Couldn’t love this place more. Bagels are delicious, fresh and chewy. Smoked salmon is a dream as are all the fish salads. Have done delivery several times now and it’s easy, convenient, and always exactly what we ordered.
